I started seriously quilting about 5 years ago when I stumbled upon a quilt shop while on a weekend trip with my husband. I never knew such glorious fabrics and amazing tools existed, and I was hooked.
I've been working a lot of hours with a long commute over the last year and a half, so I haven't had the time to quilt as much as I would like, so my New Years' resolution this year is to make time for quilting, as I have come to realize that the creative outlet of quilting is necessary for my sanity! :-)
My husband often says that I'm a fabric-a-holic ... I say I'm just an "optimistic" quilter and that SOMEDAY I will have time to use it all!
