I started quilting 12 years ago because I wanted to make something special for a dear friend in Switzerland and chose a quilt from a Margaret Rolfe book. I'd never done any patchwork before then but thought it could'nt be that hard hmm!. Once I started I hav'nt been able to stop :o)
The quilt I made had pieced koala's and hangs proudly over their bed. I have since made them one for their bed to keep them wrapped in my love.

I love quilting and have made so many friends because off it. In fact I'm about to welcome our monday quilting group into my home for an afternoon of stitching and laughter.
