I grew up in the Caribbean and was exposed to sewing/hand embroidery/crafting at an early age. Both my grandmothe and mother sew/hand embroider/craft. My grandmother created patchwork by hand. I enjoy machine embroidery, quilting, some crafting and an occasional garment sewing since my children are grown.
