I started sewing as a child. My mother made most of the clothes for me and my siblings. So I would say I learned from my mother. I married my husband and we had 4 daughters and I made most of their clothes as they were growing up. I had a sewing shop in my home for several years doing appliques on sweatshirts for a local shop and later making wedding gowns and doing alterations.
