I enjoy sewing, knitting, crochet, and quilting.
My mother sewed, so I started sewing when I was about about 8 years old. My grandmother and great-aunt (sisters) knitted and crocheted. My grandmother taught me to knit when I was about 10. I tried to teach myself to crochet but wasn't successful, so I finally took a class at age 60.

My younger sister started quilting when she was in her 30's. She finally got married at age 59 and commented about no one had made her a wedding quilt, so I researched the subject, took one class and have been quilting ever since.
