I learned to sew from my grandma when I was a young girl. Now that I am a "mature" gal I am teaching my 5 grand daughters to sew. I made our kids clothes when they were young..then took a quilting class and loved it. Then when my first grand child was born I started to sew baby clothes. Then after 2 grandsons our first grand daughter was born and I decided I needed to learn to do heirloom sewing so I could make fussy little dresses. Had 5 girls in 4 years so that was alot of dresses. I enjoyed it alot. But then my love of quilting came back....My husband and I live on a hobby ranch where he has 2 horses, 3 cows,5 chickens many barn cats and a little yorkie. He plays with them and I sew. We now have 11 grandkids. Seven of them live in the same area as us so we love to spoil and spend time with. They must like to also as they all love to come to nana and papa"s house..
