My great aunt started me on embroidery when I was about 10 years old. I started knitting when my children were preschool age, my husband took us for three months to northern California and we lived in a motel. I WAS BORED! Then I learned to sew and needlepoint in the 70s; cross stitch in the 80s; stained glass in the late 80s; beading in the 90s; and I started quilting in 2005.
