When I was around 19, I went to fashion design school and got a lot more formal training in sewing. Unfortunately I didn't use this training and didn't even sew for a long time after that.
For about the last two years I have gotten back to being creative. I love doing collages with old paper and I keep a blog where I show my work and join in on creative challenges. I try new things and they don't always turn out great but it's fun to try anyway. Now I am enjoying learning about quilting.
I still haven't gotten back to making clothes but hopefully someday I will.
