So long ago I really don't recall. I had an Aunt that sewed beautiful clothing for her daughter and as a child I admired this talent and determined that I would learn to sew like my Aunt. Later as a young mother I began using my school home ed classes and trying to make some things to wear for myself and my children. Many of those things turned out just awful, (fitting). Gradually things improved. I took my first Stretch-n-Sew classes from Ann Persons in Eugene, Oregon and after that things improved and so did patterns and sewing techniques. I also knit, felt by hand and machine,make jewelry, and paint on canvas, wood, shells, and fabric. Having the time of my life.
