I have worked since the age of 14 and was recently able to retire. I spent 31 serving the public with the U.S Postal Service. I love people so being a sales and service associate the later 16 years of that career was right up my alley. I had my first garden this year and had a really good crop of spahghetti squash and yucchini. I crochet everyday and just finished 14 bed-sized afghans. I have sewn since I was 14 and am self-taught until I found Craftsy and You Tube with my quilting. It was the deciding part of which would be my FIRST quilt. I decided on the chainsaw blocks with the woven borders. Kimberly Einmo and Peggy Martin's classes. My husband loves that I finally have a sewing room which is all organized. I guess they call it a studio these days. I also do home improvement projects and totally remodeled my kitchen and now I am finishing my bathroom project. Even have my own wet saw. Life is really wonderful. My husband spent 32 being a Marine so it is finally great to be home with him everyday. He had a cancer scare the first year after retirement and is doing great.
