I've always loved creating things--I started painting pillowcases with Artex paints when I was five that my grandmother sold. I became interested in quilting when we found my great grandmother's unfinished quilt tops--that's the project I'm working on now, to finish them up. I took one sampler quilting class and loved it, but I let a longarmer finish it for me. My goal is to make a quilt and finish it myself this year.

I used to live in West Africa, then in Dallas, now in Quebec. There's a brand new quilt shop down the street. I'm going to sign up to take a quilting class just so I can practice my French and meet some new quilting friends.
