I started sewing when I was about 7 and desperately wanted a Laura Ashley Party dress and there was no way my parents could afford one. I was fascinated by the fact that something large and flat could become something with shape and fit with a few hours work. Now I make costumes and unusual clothes and bridal wear and I love embellishing things with beads, crystals and embroidery.
