I have done crafting of one kind or another for as long as I can remember. I fondly remember lots of projects I made as a girl - a Christmas tree skirt, cross stitch pictures, a Raggedy Anne & Andy wall hanging, felt ornaments, etc. When I was in 5 & 6 grade my mom started teaching me to sew and I took sewing in Jr. High. I took quilting and cake decorating classes as an adult. When our 2 daughters got in 4H, my mom taught our oldest daughter to crochet and I learned right along with her. My younger daughter and I just got finished painting her room and stenciling pink fleur de lis all over her walls. I made the quilted heart block on my profile picture for a CHD Awareness Quilt for our son who passed away from a heart defect. I've been a VBS Craft Director and a 4H Crafts Project Leader for many years. There is always something new to dream about and start. And I get alot of joy from helping the young at heart of all ages to explore their artistic talents.
