I made one project with them. Once I returned home, I made myself a project bag using a star block from Fons and Porter's Quilters complete Guide. From there I was addicted and have been quilting ever since. I purchase patterns, but end up modifying them one way or another. This is why I am so interested in the Craftsy Videos. They help me unleash my inner creativity! When we began full-time RVing, I purchased my first Bernina. It is quite small, but did everything I needed it to do. It is a great travel companion. Now that we have a condo in AB and a park model in AZ, I have a Bernina 830 which I just LOVE. I still use the little one for classes and guild get togethers because it is so portable. BOTH machines travel back and forth between AB and AZ. Good thing we have an SUV! My favourite part of quilting is the creative process.
