A friend introduced me to quilting in 1995 by walking me through a Log Cabin design. The rest .... is history. I got the bug. I have made over 100 quilts since then and have enough material in my 'stash' to quilt the world. I have made over 100 quilts since then and have enough material in my 'stash' to quilt the world. When I meet new people - I am always eying up their clothing to see if it would make a good quilt square! If anyone had ever told me that my life's passion would be taking a large chunk of material, cutting it up into little pieces and then sewing it back together with OTHER little pieces, I would have said they were nuts. But folks, it's the truth! I love learning new techniques and trying new things. I do not personally have one quilt in my house that I made - I give them all away. I am going to design one and KEEP it one of these days. One of these days........... If I like you, you're on my list to give a quilt to some day...........
