I have always sewn in one way or another, being taught by my Mother and at school. I attended a patchwork and quilting course at Sew Creative at Wroxham Barns which is a local craft centre. I have always sewn in one way or another, being taught by my Mother and at school. I attended a patchwork and quilting course at Sew Creative at Wroxham Barns which is a local craft centre. I learnt to patchwork and quilt entirely by hand but soon realised that I could get more done if I embraced more modern machining and rotary cutting methods. I was trained as a Graphic Designer but gave that up many years ago to have children. I suppose the creative urge never leaves you so I satisfy that urge with my sewing and scrapbooking now. I am married and live in beautiful North Norfolk in the UK. I have two sons who I am very proud of and now I also have a lovely daughter-in-law who I can pass on my sewing enthusiasm to and two fantastic grandchildren - a boy and a girl. My husband and I recently sold our design agency business and have taken early retirement so now I can get more sewing done!!
