Hi! My name is Veronica, nice to meet you! I am a handcrafts lover since childhood. At the age of 16, I take my first official classes of beaded embroidery; offered by the municipality of Canovanas, Puerto Rico. My teacher was Isis Reyes, who in turn is a graduate of the Carlota Alfaro Design school. This legendary designer and educator has 60 years in the fashion industry and 40 years educating new designers . Her legacy stands still as Puerto Rico's grande dame of fashion and that's not about to change. She still runs the Carlota Alfaro Design school, and is still designing... This experience with Miss Reyes, headed my hunger for knowledge and love of handcrafts to the righ direction. Now I am also a certified local artisan and jewelry designer. I confess I am another beadaholic too... :) Love to learn, Love to teach, and more important thing...I am passionate about my Art.
