My Grandmother got me started in knitting, but when I went back to the store a couple weeks later for more yarn, I saw the crochet hooks and a how to book. I taught myself how to crochet which I've done for many years. Now I bounce between both crafts as well as spinning yarn and I'm new to weaving. Craftsy has some really great classes.
