I started at age of 5, watching my mom knitting I thought this was not complicated and could do it too. while she was away I grabbed needles and yarn from her stash and kinda made knots to cast-on in order to knit (what was easier than cast-on).I am mostly self-taught. Since then I did crochet, sew, quilt, knit, spin etc...everything crafty comes my way.
