I learned to knit and crochet over 50 years ago, YIKES! Thanks to a car accident in 2001 I am now a full time stay at home person. I learned to knit and crochet over 50 years ago, YIKES! Thanks to a car accident in 2001 I am now a full time stay at home person. Knitting and crocheting became a challenge but I found a number of places that were doing dishcloths and was hooked. I more or less relearned how to knit & crochet and have never looked back. I then designed a few patterns and was able to figure out the owl & bag pattern from the completed project that was on display at my LYS - the finished project was not for sale but I perservered till I had it all figured out and completed my 1st one for my granddaughter Madison who loved it. Having 9 grandchildren & 2 god children I always have a number of projects on the go all year roud. Hubby and our boys turned a room in our home into a craft/book room for me, now I just have to finish sorting all the yarn and books out. LOL
