Excited to get creative sewing and quilting after 20 years! So amazed at all the notions, machines, and especially fabric, which I have already become a fabric hoarder in training! To share in this journey my sons wonderful wife-to-be is my partner in crime! I just got her a neat little Brother 2125, my machines are a Brother 6800 Sew-Quilt-Emb and Brother 1034 Serger. Sew together we are learning and the Craftsy online classes are perfect as I am a bit home bound because of Autoimmune issues. Before I took a medical retirement I enjoyed a successful 20 year career in the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Engineering field. I owned my company for 9 years and was acquired by a large firm in Redmond, Wa. I am excited to utilize my computer based mapping and design skills in quilting and fiber arts. I look forward to enjoying classes with other members on line.
