I started crafting as a young teenage mother and have never stopped. Crocheting, knitting, painting, sewing, string art, ceramic's, scrape booking, the list just goes on and on. I started quilting about 12 years ago and loved it so much that I took my early retirement from Delta Air Lines. I just turned 69 and feel that I have finally reached my peak. I have 4 children and 9 grandchildren, so far :) My husband & I love to travel and cruise. My goal is to travel around the world and I am close to meeting my goal. When we cruise I usually take hand work with me and through this I have met some wonderful ladies from all over the world.
I love Crafty and am signed up for about six classes. I enjoy taking them at my leisure, knowing they will always be there, and the ability to go back and replay a segment as many times as it takes. I look forward to meeting some of you on this site. I hope my photo does not offend anyone. It was a birthday card that says "Life is to short to be subtle"
