I have always loved creating different unique things. My mother was an expert seamstress, knitter and baker. I left my creativity for many years while travelling the country in the military and then began quilting in 2001 as a hobby along with tole painting. I started slowly and then took up astrology combining them and creating unique birth chart quilted wallhangings. Shortly after, I decided to quilt some of my own photos. I love making one of a kind designs and even when I try to follow a pattern I always end up putting my own spin on it. Creating different and unique designs is inspirational and fulfilling - especially when it brings joy to others.
