Grandma taught me to crochet, my Mom tried to teach me to knit but I could never get the tension right until I met a left handed crafter (I am right handed but do some things left handed like deal cards) and she taught me to knit holding the yarn in my left hand. I also am a self taught beader, sewer, needlepointer, crewel embroiderer. Love your site! Starting to learn quilting - taking classes online is wonderful!
