I am a late bloomer. I have always admired quilts, but as I am sewingly challenged, never thought that I could be a quilter. My husband has always been a "just do it" kind of guy, so in 2007, Santa brought me a sewing machine, a fat quarter bundle, and Alex Anderson's Start Quilting with Alex Anderson, and here I am. I'm still not comfortable with the actual quilting part of the process, but I sure love choosing colors and piecing the tops.
