My mother was a quilter, seamstress, crocheter, embroider. I always love to sit with her and try to do what she was doing. I made my first little quilt when I was five years old. It was a lot out of square but my dolly loved it. I guess a lot of that wore off on me. Now I can sew, quilt, knit, embroider, crochet, and tat.
