I love to bake too and may even take a class for cakes. I have been sewing and quilting since I was a young girl. My grandmother and great grandmother were my inspiration. They lived through the Depression so they saved everything and were some of the original "recycling mommy". They always made scrappy quilts so the new idea of making quilts from new fabric was funny too them. Both were amazing cooks so I was blessed to have them as my examples.
I am just starting to learn some of the basics in jewelry making. I love beads and the look of wire wrapped earrings. I am using some of the natural shells that I find at the beach here and intermingling beads and crystals. I am having fun creating some unique pieces and my family is enjoying receiving them as gifts.
