I retired several years ago, when my first husband died I took up sewing again. I have 8 grand children and want to make them all a quilt (bed size) before I die (I hope). I love working with my hands and do lots of hobbies. Sewing is my first love. I have remarried (4 years now) and need to do some quilting again so I will not be cooking and eating and getting fat. I love working with my hands and do lots of hobbies. Sewing is my first love. I have remarried (4 years now) and need to do some quilting again so I will not be cooking and eating and getting fat. Ha! I have a new sewing machine (computer type) also does embroidery work, that I have not tried so I need to get busy I guess. By the way, I am 75 years young. I am in good health and stay busy. Any one have suggestions for me? I'd love to hear from you. I have craftsy and facebook and pinterest. I do not know how to send pictures. I do have a digital camera but do not know how to use it. I hope to learn though. Love to cook, paint by number, sew, quilt. Belong to several organizations. The town I live in now is pretty dead. I know of NO quilt club or sewing club.
