I guess I started my crafting with sewing when I was in high school. I always wanted clothes that I couldn't find in stores so I started making them.
About 10 years ago I picked up some yarn and a crochet hook. I think I crocheted 1 scarf before I dropped the hook in favor of needles. I have been obsessed ever since. I am never more than a few feet away from one of my knitting projects.

A couple years ago I started altering patterns to fit my needs and creating projects of my own without patterns. A year ago I decided to start writing these patterns down and sharing them through my site j.erin Knits. I love designing just as much, if not more than straight knitting. Math & yarn? heaven!
