Started knitting as child but didn't progress til college in New York. Mom, grandmothers and aunts are/ were skilled knitters. I got a slow start because we moved to Hawaii when I was very young and it was hard to find a reason to knit (and good yarn was even harder to come by). My passions are fairisle knitting, cables, and lace, but I'm just learning these techniques.
