Born in the Province of Quebec, before I even went to school, my maternal grandmother started to teach me sewing (for my dolls) knitting and crochetting - you could not escape if you showed any talent! And then, the Nuns for many years while at their boarding convent. Without her I might not have pursue that hobby for the last 50 years. Now that I have retired from the Gouvernment of Canada, I can enjoy every day doing some beautiful work for my nièces/nephews and my large family.
