I love to knit! Especially lace, but I'd like to try colors (like Fair Isle). I like to learn new things, and knit things that require some concentration... I learned to knit and crochet from my mother and grandmother - who always had 'handwork' in her lap. But I didn't knit for myself until much later - when my kids were in high school about 3 years ago. Now its a great excuse to watch TV and allows me to be creative at the same time.
