I am a partner in a Coldwell Banker Real Estate franchise, Brockhaven Realty, and when not selling homes, I am in my home studio creating quilted items and fibre art. I also own a 43ft twin diesel motoryacht, with my husband, and I set up two sewing machines on it to continue my sewing. I have a 1951 Singer Featherweight, which is ideal on the enclosed rear deck where I have lots of light and river view, my other Singer machine I set up in the dinette. I also do some work for other boat owners at the marina, repairing/recovering cushions and curtains. I recently purchased an old 1911 Singer Treadle machine, which I cleaned up and got in working order and I have fun using it in my studio, along with my one year old Janome Horizon (state of the art) machine.
Would love to have more time to sew, but need to make money to buy fabric :)
