My mother taught me to sew on her Singer treadle sewing machine when I was six. When I was a little bit older she taught me to do fine crochet, and I have been adding to my craft repertoire ever since. When my boys were little I made their clothing-now I spend more time knitting, but I also spin and weave, embroider, quilt, and have learned how to do most forms of needlework to some degree. I love it all!
