I really love quilting. I started out sewing my own clothes when I was in Jr. High, sewed for my children, then decided to try quilting. My grandmother made all her kids and grandkids string quilts, so and a great aunt who made me a quilt for my high school graduation gave me inspiration. I'm not real artistic, so I feel quilting lets me be creative and make things that can be used for decoration or for practical use.
