Crafting ? How/when/why? I do not really know! My Mom, grandmother, aunt were always doing with their hands ! The school of hard knocks ! I've always had something in the works. Crafting ? How/when/why? I do not really know! My Mom, grandmother, aunt were always doing with their hands ! The school of hard knocks ! I've always had something in the works. Sewing, knitting, crochet, embroidery, never did master tatting--though I tried. My Mom and grandmere quilted-I watched-BUT-paid no attention!! In her later years I helped Mom rack her quilts. Again I paid no attention to her quilting! I inherited my mother-in-law's ufo and my interested peaked! That was in 1994, a dresden plate, missing squares. Mom helped me find closely matching fabrics, and I was launched....The quilt is mine. My quilts are utilitarian--I ask that they be used/enjoyed!! I still knit and crochet. I,m a procrastinater, but once started---I must finish! Do I have any ufos? Yes Is my next project lined-up? Yes A wedding quilt for our granddaughter!!! Block patterns and finishing kit purchased at a Quilt Festival in Vermont.
