I enjoy Patchwork and knitting, gardening. Have also done in my life mosaics, decoupage, teddy bears, dolls. I am a hands-on person, having tiled three kitchens and two bathrooms in houses we have lived in - planning on doing same in current house. Have a large garden at the moment which we are now having to renovate after having Let the house for the last three years. That is a big job, but since we are getting much older now we are re-designing it so that it is less work than it used to be - before we ARE way too old to to so. We have four sons and four grandchildren, and two daughters-in-law. I take Craftsy courses just for interest sake and to keep myself updated. I am a left-handed knitter and crocheter who learned by watching my mother in the mirror when I was in primary school. I knitted clothes for my teddy bear way back then, but have kept my sons and their children, friends, wives and girlfriends in jumpers, hats, scarves etc ever since. I have made over 100 quilts since I took up the hobby in 2008, and have just joined a bunch of ladies in my town who also enjoy patchwork.
