My names is Randy Lee and I like to knit crazy hats and stuffed animals. I do other things sometimes, but I prefer quick knits because I always find myself swamped with projects! Most of what I make is for other people and designed by me. One of my favorite things about knitting is the smile, squee, or other expression of joy when I hand someone their item. What's a lilliput you ask? Well the first I heard of the word was in an art history class, it was the name of a small art magazine. I thought it sounded pretty so I googled it and found that lilliput is also the name of the country of very small people in Gulliver's Travels. Being an abnormally small person myself, I thought it was a good fit. I plan to go to school for fiber arts to take this passion to a new level. I think it's important to keep growing creatively, as long as it remains fun. I'm really looking forward to learning to spin, dye, weave, etc. One day I'll be able to make my family tartan!
