I started in the crafting world in third grade when my mom first showed me how to use a sewing machine. I have a picture of the two of us at the kitchen table each of us with a sewing machine in front of us. :) I had been doing counted cross stitch for quite some time. I discovered needlepoint in high school and my grandma introduced me to crochet. It was my Aunt Rachael who taught me how to read a crochet pattern. Once I was able to read a crochet pattern, I have written a few of my own for myself. Being able to read a crochet pattern opened up the a whole new door into the crochet world. I love it! One day I saw a bead book in the local Walmart that had the basic daisy chain necklace. My beading blossomed from there. I just love the feel of beads in my hands. There is absolutely no limit as to what you can do with beads. Again, I love it! Sometimes I have trouble deciding on what project to work on next. I have to make a list and cross them off as I go. I probably have enough projects and supplies to last a lifetime. But, you never know what color you may need for a project...You can never have too many stickers or beads. LOL that is my story and I'm sticking to it. Happy Crafting every one!
