Love to crochet and needlepoint. My eldest sister taught me to crochet, and a dear friend introduced me to needlepoint when we worked together in the 1980's (we're still friends and do not work any longer). I also have been a member of the Mid-Hudson Embroiders Guild for the past two years, and occasionally go to the Sit and Sew at the public library. I enjoy the group and always can ask someone "how to" for there is always someone there who "knows how." At the Embroiders Guild meetings I get to see how talented most of the women are and admire the creative ideas they come up with. Although knitting, crocheting and needlepoint are done by some of the guild members, the majority does cross stitch that is absolutely amazing and needless to say, beautiful. I live with my two sons, or should I say they live with me (lol), my three cats and my Pomeranian Daisy who is one fantastic dog. She brings a lot of sunshine into my life.
