My mother was very craftsy. She sewed clothes for people so she could stay home with us when we were young. She made the practice uniforms both of the local high school majorettes and cheerleaders. I made all of my own clothes when I was younger. She always had projects going. Our grandmother taught my sister and I to quilt. My niece taught me to make simple jewelry.
