My mother is an artist, and since I lack the ability to paint, I turned to other creative outlets such as beadwork and sewing. Since my daughter married, I've turned her bedroom into a sewing room with the very patient help of my husband, who has replaced the carpet with tile flooring, set up sewing and cutting areas, and makes appropriate oohing and ahhing noises at my creations! He also runs to WalMart and the fabric store for me on occasion!
