My mother taught me to knit the basic knit stitch when I was 4 years old (I'm now 55). It was in self-defense! I used to bother her so much while she was tring to fix dinner for the family and it was the only thing that would keep me occupied and out of her hair. Smart woman!!
I'm married (to the same man for 33 years) and have 3 adult children . I also have 2 Mini Schnauzers that are being totally spoiled for lack of grandchildren.
I work for an orthodontist, so I do get my "kid fix" four days a week.
