I am a retired driving instructor, my husband and I moved from the UK to a remote farm we are renovating, I started patchwork for some thing to do in the evening as we had no tv for a long time.
I have always been a bit artistic, I painted and knitted, plus I made all my own clothes and also the childrens when they were small.
I now run a patchwork and quilting group locally, where we meet every other week, its a good way to integrate with the local Breton / French ladies as well as the ex-pats in the area.
We also run a smallholding, we keep hens, ducks, geese, occasionally a couple of pigs, and we have 2 bee hives for honey and wax. We grow all our own fruit and veg, so we keep pretty busy as you can imagine.
