I am new to quilting. A quilt top hand stitched by my grandmother needs to be completed for passing down to my daughter, then hers. I want to learn as much as possible about assembling it with cotton batting and backing before investing in a frame to hand quilt it. That is on my bucket list to get done. I am new to quilting. A quilt top hand stitched by my grandmother needs to be completed for passing down to my daughter, then hers. I want to learn as much as possible about assembling it with cotton batting and backing before investing in a frame to hand quilt it. That is on my bucket list to get done. I enjoy sewing for my home and making some of my clothes. Now that I am retired, that, reading, listening to music, watching movies, baking, preparing meals, playing in my garden and flowers pretty much fills my time. When it is beautiful out, I enjoy taking drives and trips through out the state. Also on my bucket list are road trips back across the lower forty eight, home, and to see each or the states. After that, I would like to take a cruise or two and an Amtrack trip from coast to coast, then back through Canada. There is really no need for me to go anywhere so long as I am surrounded by my family.
