I have bee sewing since I was 8 years old. I LOVE fabric and making things out of it. I made my first quilt in 1970 and the bug got me! I have made over 1000 Sunbonnet Sue applique blocks all with hand applique and now I need to make some quilts using them. I did make one quilt using them and it went to China with an exchange teacher we had at school a few years back. She really loved it too!. My grandkids that attened the Charter school where I worked wanted to give her something special before she went back to China so we made her a quilt. She loved it!!! We just finished a ShopHop here in our area and I found so much more great fabric and now it's time to get busy again. I teach sewing 5 days a week in my home right now and my girls are age 8 thru 12. What a great desire they have to learn to sew and create. I love it! They have all made som fantastic things too.
