I got it finished not knowing that it was applique!! My friend tried to teach me how to do the mitered borders and I just couldn't grasp it so they ended up being squared off!!
That got me started and I have been hooked ever since. I am a self taught quilter using Alex Anderson's Start Quilting and Eleanor Burns It's Elementary! I have come a long way since the Sunflower wallhanging.. I have been quilting six years now and love it!
I also have done cross stitching, embroidery both hand and machine, some knitting and crochet. I had done garment sewing but not recently
