I've always been a crafty person. There are times when my hands just itch to craft something. I crochet, knit, make jewelry, and work on multi-media projects. In the summer of 2000 I learned how to crochet. I desperately wanted to learn because my mom had always made such lovely things via crochet. Then my sister taught herself to knit and started making her own patterns which made me envious of her new skill. It took years for me to try my hands at knitting. I tried to learn on my own using YouTube videos but they just didn't work for me. Then while I was searching for more how-to-knit videos, I stumbled across and advertisement for Stefanie Japel's Knit Lab and decided to give it a try. Finally it stuck and I've been addicted to knitting ever since.
