I was pregnant with my first child and wanted to make a baby blanket for myself. No one in my family knew anything about crocheting or knitting. So I taught myself to knit and crochet, then counted cross stitch. That was over 25 years ago and I still love making things. Would like to learn quilting and jewelry making some day too.
