I have been sewing for 3 years now, but I still have LOTS to learn! I started sewing after I went to the funeral of a quilter and saw all the lovely quits she had made on display. I though"what a lovely legacy!" and decided come what may, I was going to make a quilt! So I did and I haven't stopped yet. I guess my best compliment was when I worked all year and made quilts for my nieces and nephews for Christmas. The following year I purchased gifts for them. My nephew (who was 8 years old) ripped into his gift and was visibly disappointed. "Aww, man! I wanted another quilt!" I was tickled pink!
